and swatting water all over the place. The vet gave him an antiinflammatory. She tried to drain the area but it went down over night so no abcess, no break. It was a giant knot of swelling. He probably caught his arm under the door. Also she did feel the varicosed vein and isn't sure what it is (figures my guess is good) and I figure it's because well... he's a tad inbred. Shhh, he doesn't know.

I've been up since it was still dark out. I was dreaming there were explosions and so there were. BAD storm. Knocked out my power. Too much rain. Oh the rain. Please go visit Texas Rain.

I'm REALLY irritated to find out the coworker I'm having trouble with has been mocking me in her class. Too bad they like me more than her and told me. I'm not going to do anything about it but see if I help her with anything anymore.


Watching Andrew ZImmern in Indonesia and they highlighted a coming of age ceremony. The Balinese belief (or one of them I guess since I'm not sure it's universal for the Balinese) is that the canine teeth represents our more animal side and to be rid of those points makes us more human so they file them down. Interesting. I love learning stuff like this.



Day Nineteen: Favorite non-human female character



Even though she was only a minor character, I loved Kehylar. She was fantastic. Snarky, bold (see this as a theme with me) and she put Worf in his place. I still want to have a male and female cat and name them Worf & Kheylar.
