I even ate a sliver in celebration. I was out most of the day. Mom and I went bra shopping. There's no good there. In fact bra sizes that fit me (as in I'm currently wearing that size) does NOT fit in the new version so it's obviously they changed the sizing.

Went to Michael's craft shop.That place is from the devil. And beads were on sale. I bought relatively little but it was expensive enough but how could I pass up a druzy stone, a giant one at that, for the price they had it? And the Ganesha and octopus pendants? I even got some beads including sea glass and fake (but pretty) druzy pieces. I need to start making stuff. Seriously. I love writing but I should carve out a little time to do other things I like.

Then we went to the casino for lunch and got to see the horses running around the track. There was one non-racer who was done up for St. Paddy's day, green ribbons in his mane and tail and little glittery top hat. Lunch was their shrimp and crab louise salad with champagne vinegrette. Yum. I broke even so that's good.

From there it was off to Grandma's. She was happy to see me but definitely her refusal to wear her hearing aids (she's completely deaf now without them) and her refusal to socialize is beginning to take its toll. She's beginning to forget a whole lot of things.

Spring Break is officially over today. I'm going to my brother's tomorrow then back home. Kanda will be so disappointed. He loves running stairs.

Also my toe hurts. Pouts.
