I got up early for this because my costume required spirit gum. I looked at a tutorial, read the instructions and it STILL didn't work right. I tried to glue on the prosthesis time and again but it wouldn't stick. I said screw this, used the spirit gum remover, wiped the residual off my skin and did what we used to do in the theatre which I should have remembered about a half hour before I did. I scrubbed all the body oils off my skin with alcohol THEN glued on the prosthesis. Worked like a charm and stayed on all day.



You know what's scary? That damn double chin!

So I head into the office with the chili I made and other things and find the students all ready set up (yay) and another co-worker dressed up too. She always does. She told me about an incident at work last night. She has a night class. She let them out for the night and heard two of the girls in the bathroom. She shut down everything, packed up and still heard them in there giggling and talking. She went in there to say they were shutting up the building but the room was empty.



Me and Rose and yes I AM wearing wings. Isn't that confusing? Apparently no one in SE Ohio has ever seen the paranormal romance standard of a fallen angel with the horns and wings. Yes my wings are small (mostly because I'm so big)


There should have been more but the person running my camera apparently can't tell if a picture is being taken or not. The students loved me teaching like this (but the wings did end up making my bad shoulder ACHE). The club made over 200$. I did have to man the station for a while by myself but one of my anime club girls stopped over to ask me why I hadn't been there to help out (No one emailed me) and that someone in administration is getting pissy about the type of club it is (i.e. adminstrative secretary who got pissy with me too about the math/science club as well.) and to talk anime for an hour.

I had to go set up my big bone test which takes about three hours or more to do. I told them to put ALL the stuff in the secretary's office. they didn't. Secretary got on ME. I'm like look they're 20 + years old. I'm not their mother. They were told. I had better things to do than supervise them. I'm sorry they took all the baked goods. (also I wasn't the only faculty there) the one black mark on the whole thing but whatever.

I came home, talked to Mom who said your computer is on its way. Um I had only just started looking. Mom - you sent me three from Costco, you can NEVER make a decision and you would end up with the first one you sent me because it's last year's model and its cheap.' (okay true). So Merry Christmas. All right mom, I'll send you half the money. No you won't Merry Christmas (I will then she'll just send it back and it'll be flying back and forth for a year until I eventually keep it)
