Kanda isn't happy with me

I spent most of the day (the part where I wasn't diving into the paper recycle after coupons AGAIN) packing the car. He doesn't know what's going on but he ain't happy. I can't believe it took me so long (granted I was taking frequent breaks to watch the Ancient Aliens marathon and found out that my long-time theory on the Greys is now an accepted theory in that community. Whee).
I'm not sure if I'm going home tomorrow or the next day. I'm letting the weather decide. Since the car is weighted down, I'd rather it be tomorrow. I LIKE driving when it's grey. My eyes don't hurt. But if it's pouring I might wait. Also my sugar is being a total dick the last 2 days. I can't drive home if it's as high as its been. I'm dull and I don't want behind the wheel like that. I might as well be drunk.
The kid next door who was feeding Dingy stopped me in the parking lot to thank me for taking her to the vet (he thought it was a boy and was stunned) He loves animals but is deathly allergic to dogs and cats, poor guy. He brought me all the food he bought for her and wouldn't take any money and he bought the expensive stuff. Kanda will be eating well but I'm not sure about the canned food. I might donate it. I don't do canned.
BOOZE Report
Xingu Black Beer Frankly when I was making up my 6 pack, I saw the name thought it was Chinese (or right from Xing as reality and fandom start bleeding together). It turns out it's Brazillian and I included the link because of the interesting history and for the fact it works to save the Amazon rainforest. And just as important, it was a really good black beer. Strong without being nasty bitter.
Breckenbridge Brewery Vanilla Porter - another from Colorado. And sort of a waste of vanilla beans (which it claims to be brewed with). Porters are dark and bitter by nature. This one was very bitter and it lingered and not in a good way. It's definitely one I'm glad I got as a mix and match six pack because it would have been something I would have bought a six pack of based on the name and would have been a waste of money. Did not like
Monty Python's Holy Grail Ale - okay you know I bought this for the name. I know I bought it for the name. Overall, it's a lighter ale than I like normally. It's a decent beer. Not wonderful but definitely not skunky. I'd buy it again. in fact I have to if I want to keep the label since the coworker who killed his arteries eating McDonald's to get me the retro glasses wants the bottle.
