Modem still not working right
Aug. 5th, 2006 12:29 pmBecause the phone lines are fucked. the last time I had trouble on the line I immediately asked for Verizon's 4$/month exortion racket to cover work (since they want 100$ to come out and nearly that a half hour to work). Well my bill went up and I assumed that was it. I looked. It wasn't. Furious, i call repairs and the customer service bitch actually sighed at me as if I were disturbing her. I read her the riot act then told them to shove their service since I was pissed already because that 'helpful computer' of theirs you know the one, the one that tries to get you to the best service IGNORED everything I said/did and was trying to send out a repair man in spite me screaming no no no. Bitch rolled me over to another customer service so I could scream at them for NOT putting on the inside work rider. She could see where it was asked for but it was never inacted. God, Verizon has fucked up EVERYTHING since i moved in here. I threatened to replace them and you know what that might not be a threat. I'm going to look into other companies.
ETA - OMG, called Verizon today again to ask about the test on the line. they said there is no test on the line. I said YOUR computer ran it yesterday and today again when I called. What do you mean there is no test. 'The computer doesn't retain that information, ma'am.' I said what the hell good is that? WHy tell me you're running a test and NOT tell me if it's the outside line (their problem) or the inside line (my problem) She says 'we would have to run the test' I interupt with you already did that TWICE. "if you let me finish ma'am, we'd have to run that test when you're not on that line' What part of you did that TWICE don't you understand. What did the test tell you? 'I can't tell you that ma'am. The computer doesn't retain...'
