151 people came through tonight so big YAY. the two best scares: the second group through, me and my partner popped out with our masks through the black plastic. She shrieked and BOLTED. I didn't know a human go get through a dark maze that fast. SHe saw NOTHING else. We scared the rest of her party but she was gone. The next best was when I was hanging on the wall (black cloth wall covered in white masks, me in all black including a scarf over my hair and wearing a white mask) and one girl got super close to my face trying to decide if I was real or not and I came off that wall. SHe knocked her boyfriend right down escaping.

Really, fear is such a fun thing.

I dont' like taking benadryl since it just runs me down for about half a day. I should have taken it last night. the sinus headache got so bad every time i rolled over I'd wake up from the blinding pain. Finally around dawn I took the day time sinus ...another mistake. It did nothing and I had to wait hours to take my migraine pills which at least keep me from wanting to throw up every time I move.

funny thing, i accidentally knocked out my big container of spring lettuce mix and some spilled on the floor. Furball was waiting for things to spill out of the big cold box. He descended on the lettuce like it was manna from heaven then gave me a look of SUCH betrayal

There was a big wedding yesterday that I missed. The grandparents are friends. The moms ditto (my mom and the bride's), then of course the bride and my brother (and me but she and John went to school together). Three generations of friendship. I helped mom make the wedding flowers for her. Gram made 20 dozen of cookies for the reception. I couldn't go. Well I could have but I don't like a 500 mile round trip for less than 72 hours of staying time and I did have the theatre committment. They all asked about me though, which was rather nice.

but it's a sunday we rather expect that at the theatre. I couldn't use my noise makers since blowing on it made me sort of well nearly puke. Still, I did everything else and we didn't have one bad group this time. SOme of them won't be sleeping for weeks. After one particularly good scare I told my partner 'that boy won't be right after this' She (a mother) looks at me and says 'are boys ever right?' well, no.

tell you what, I've forgotten how much love it is to be part of a theatre family. I'll miss this if i leave here.

Speaking of which there are a few good jobs on the board right now. WIsh me luck.
