Right now I should be relaxing on my netbook lake side after a long day of boating and picnic food but instead I barely left the house. Lucky Uncle owns a lake house. Lucky Uncle also just trusted Sears to correctly measure the refrigerator they delivered on monday. they did not. cabinets had to be cut. the fridge languished in the way for 3 days and got put in (in theory) today. So... no lake for me this year (I missed the 4th too)

I did go to Grandma's and mom said 'want some stuff from the pantry' well pantry #2 has cookbooks and I will pick up any old book. I got the household searchlight recipe book. (see the link). it's probably circa 1936 and i'm using it for my demon hunter's christmas party. there are handwritten recipes grandma added and recipts dating back to 1949(i think it's safe to toss these now) AND recipe books from pillsbury, arm & hammer, betty crocker from the 40's-60's tucked inside. It's been interesting to see it.

Speaking of demon hunter, I'm almost done.
