Writerly Ways and other things
Mar. 29th, 2013 11:25 pmI figured might as well do it tonight since Sunday being a holiday. And I did it over in my other journal so you can check it out here. It has a link to another very thought provoking post so go for that if not for me.
I had Good Friday off. The closest thing I did to anything religious was think that I really approve of some of the things the new Pope is doing, especially since it pisses off the more traditionalist Catholics who want to go back to the Dark Ages.
I had planned to go shopping for a new couch. L saw me looking on line at Ashley Furniture in Barboursville and mentioned she wanted to go too. Sigh. I tried to worm out yesterday but I couldn't without being rude. But today I had an unfortunate way out. Ashley won't come the 60 miles to my house to deliver the couch. Too bad since they had pretty ones. Value City (which is further away) will do it. So I didn't go. I might call Columbus and see if that Ashley likes me more.
I went to do laundry. But I got so tired that is literally ALL I did all day. Sigh. I have no idea why I'm so completely exhausted. My sugar isn't bad. I did talk to the head librarian while I was up there doing the laundry because thankfully I got the notice that they moved my World Book Night pick up to my library since all my options were over 70 miles away then the email went on to say that they didn't contact the library personally. Um WHAT? Sure enough they hadn't. How do you select a place to receive a shipment of 20 books without asking?? Luckily they were cool with it.
And here, have some interesting, fun links. Dr Who/Harry Potter crossover My Friend ES sent this along. It's all gifs that blend the two verses. They're cool.
And I got this from everyone. My Mom said neither my brother or I would pose with the Easter Bunny. I think this might be why. I know what will be in my nightmares tonight. scary bunnies
