They said it would be fixed tonight. Oh it most definitely was not. Ruined cybermonday for me. Sigh. Well, it's not as if they won't email me daily deals anyhow from now til the 23rd or so.
I did get in to get the buy one get one free books. some are gifts for ME. For Mom and for friends later (you know, after I've read them because I suck like that).
It was kinda amusing tonight. I was on the phone with mom talking about what to get dad and my brother John. Then John calls me in the middle of that so I hang up with mom. He's telling me he doesn't want to get what we agreed on for dad (and I agree, sorry dad but you are just getting too old to use a car creeper that cost over 100$) and then tells me he's discovered what he wants for himself. His wife hears this so she calls mom while I'm talking to him and tells her she's already bought the item in question. See, this is why I make a damn wish list. Just go there and buy me what I want. Last year everyone went rogue. John then informs me he spent a lot of me (from the man who said I was getting nothing). I haven't spent a cent on him. I have, however, spent a pound. He wanted one last year and I forgot to give it to him. I found it recently....
A friend posted this up. I had no idea that Wedding Cookie Table were NOT everywhere. I mean I think I was in college if not medical school (probably the latter when I finally left the Pittsburgh area). I would have liked a wedding cookie table if I had married. I remember doing this for many a cousin.
I have a new icon for the last week of classes.
I just sent round two of my novel edits back. OMG. It's happening!
and taken from various places: Because LJ is dead and I want to contribute to its revival!
Pick a date during December that hasn't been used yet and give me a topic, and I'll ramble on. I'm good at talking. It can be anything from fandom-related to life-related, to my work, to books, to horses, to whatever you want.
They may be brief, or not, depending on the subject.
Also, I reserve the right to decline prompts that I don't feel equipped to meet (or if I feel I will only speak negatively on something, I might ask you for something else).
Topics: you can get an idea from my tags/from the stuff I usually ramble about/from things you maybe wish I talked about more but don't.
