I'm not particularly surprised that Debbie Reynolds followed her daughter into the great beyond. I do feel very sorry for Carrie's daughter, though.

On a personal level I was having a great day until I came home. Mom and I went shopping to return my gift for dad to Bed Bath and Beyond. Found a ton of holiday stuff on sale there plus tons of other stuff. I got a few things, including an adorable dauschund draft stopper for my shitty front door, something evil_little_dog will have to wait til April to see and some freaky pieces of plastic crap called Shopkins my friend's little girl is into. On sale! huzzah. If I'm going to buy weird toys it might as well be on sale.

We went to Macy's and bought up the store. I wanted to toss a lot of my winter dress clothing for work because it's old a lot of it (like I've had it before I moved to Ohio and I've been here 11 years) and tons of it is black. I love black but it would be nice to have a few other options. Tried on half the store and can I say this without people getting bent out of shape? Personally I hate that they make plus clothing out of rayon/polyester and spandex. It just clings like saran wrap. I feel like ever fat roll is exposed. One was pretty until you realized you could see my nipple straight through the thing in spite of the bra because that's how clingy this crap is. I'm returning two items to Roaman's for the same thing (CoM LEARN to read the fabric description and save yourself tons of postage money).

We had lunch at Cadillac Ranch which was tasty but we came out to see 3 fire trucks, two ambulances and several cop cars, Still not sure why.

Then I got home and turned on the computer and saw these two bad bad things:

1. If any of you use All romance or omnilit to get your ebooks, they're shutting down in two days and to be sure they don't run into 2017 everything closes up on the 31st so yeah 2 day notice. I downloaded the few books I've bought. But as an author, there was NO plan to give out the last quarter's distribution. Now I don't sell much there and my publisher is pulling my books for me and getting their lawyers out because of the royalities. Head desk. And the TRULY disturbing thing is they were a huge distributer. Pretty soon the ONLY place to buy a book is going to be fucking Amazon. ARe took a loss this year and closed up so if you have anything there as either author or reader get over there and download now.

2. Some absolute asshole has been stealing people's books (the one thing I LOATHE about ebooks is how easily they're stolen) and selling them as his? hers? BUT if that wasn't bad enough this person is also not using a pen name. No, they're putting these stolen books under OTHER author names to use their reputation to sell more books (and worse they'll take the blame for the plagiarism). It seems to be all m/m romance at the moment.
