I have the answer to the question

rahirah posed. What was next to that house on Mulga road that made it so cheap. NOTHING. No weird crap, no neighbors, no internet unless I miss my guess. It's cheap because it's on the meanest spit of land I've seen in a while. the front yard is shit. The rest is enclosed by a rusting fence that I'd be tempted to rip down.
I don't think the house is for me. It's about 4 miles off the highway across a creek that a week after the flooding is STILL near the road so I'd likely be stuck on the wrong side of it (though Google Maps showed another way out). I know you shouldn't make snap judgements but I'm pretty sure I drove past much of Trump's voter base on my way to the place....
On the same road closer to the highway is This house that just hit the net. The pros: 2 acre flat lot that doesn't blow. Newish metal roof that will probably last my lifetime. Close to the highway @ 25 miles to work. Ranch so no steps to hurt me. My next door neighbor is a Christmas Tree farm.
Cons: Not fond of the kitchen. Nothing about this house wows me. It's serviceable but nothing screams wow buy me. The WTF: Right next to the Christmas trees is a smallish corral with at least 6 hours and a trailer. I think the horses live IN the trailer because I didn't see a barn and then there's a house next to that so...um....
I haven't written hardly anything for camp nano. I spent most of today staring at the computer and then I went out and stolen daffodils from the abandoned house next door.
