Since I've been here I've rescued 40 cats. Last week another popped up. He (I think it's a he, here's hoping) is FRIENDLY and he is lovely. He's a beige and grey tabby with tufted ears and fluffy tail so maybe Maine Coonish (which I covet) Two days ago I started giving him chicken. Others are feeding him too. He comes over screaming when he sees me mostly. Sometimes he just screams at me like yesterday when I had to throw away his food (I won't leave it out there, too many coons and possums)

Here's the thing, I'd rather have adopted with the neutering/shots all included but there you have it. I want to help him. But SHOULD I keep him? I'm a fall risk right now. My dad does not want me to take him because he's afraid I'll fall. Mom wishes my brother could take him but his cats are old and too set in their ways (and would attack him now). I don't know what to do. Do I try to find him a home? Do I keep him?

Have I mentioned he's insane? Like tonight, he wanted me when I went outside (because it's beautiful) to talk to Mom and Dad. So he came off the neighbor's porch (he prefers them because they have couches on their porch...not outdoor couches, INDOOR ones because we're hillbillies) but only came to the edge of the courtyard's grass and screamed at me to come get him (why? Because cats are assholes). Sorry dude, not happening. Since mosquitoes were biting me I went inside again.

So Mom and I are talking and then suddenly MEOW! He's on the porch chair nose pressed to the screen yapping at me. So, as he's trained me, I got him his chicken and sat in my lap afterwards. I wonder if Lucky Uncle is ready for a new cat. SIGH


I am making dining plans to a) empty the freezer as everything in there is a min. 6 months old and some of it is too funky to eat b) empty the pantry bins because shit is old so cross your fingers I stick to the plans I'm so tired of wasting food. I need to build better habits.

Then curious as to how long I HAVE been doing this challenge I looked at the master list. Well, then yes in fact I HAVE been doing this since year one. Go me.
