mostly because front loaders are leaky mildew growers. They are a biologic nightmare (I make the students go to the laundromat and test a top loader vs front loaders for microbiology). Actually outside of the stackables most of the are front loaders which makes me shudder every time because I'm that allergic to mildew. I struggle to walk past them in the laundromat.

But that is good to know about the combos. this is one of the reasons I've avoided buying them all these years. I'm going to have to go for the weird stackables
