I need an icon that says something to the effect of 'characters are assholes.' I sat at the computer from 9-midnight last night and wrote 300 painful, pointless words.

I'm not in my bed two minutes when Roy tells me the entire ending to my big bang and how to make it work in light of the fact I had to gut so much out of it out. I'm having a bad sugar night so I don't want to get up and write it down. I'll remember

He wakes me up at 4 am (or more precisely my sugar falling from 300 to 90 woke me up) to remind me of the plot device.

Here's hoping I still remember all of it by the time I get home from work.

So the things I had to cut from the big bang include:
Riza's subplot
Maes/Gracia's subplot
Dev & Mera's subplot
Al & Miao-Yin's subplot
Mattan and his whole family

Anyone else get the idea I'll need to write a fourth story in the series set right after this one to accomplish this goal. now i'll need a new main plot. whimpers. if I'm smart I'll start now, don't publish it and wait to see if there's a big bang next year.
