I had 15$ in free slot play so i went to use it and turned it into 60$ so woot!

Off to meet Friend A and B (and many other fellow doctors) tomorrow in Cleveland. Holy heck, FIFTEEN years have gone by since I graduated with my medical degree. It feels like yesterday. Hell, 7& 1/2 have gone by since I suffered my surgical career ending injury. Unreal.

I'm quick to confess, I don't actually like Cleveland much. It has all the big city problems and is getting worse (so much so my college actually up rooted and moved to keep the future docs from being blown away. Two of my friends were shot and luckily not badly wounded when we were there. That said, it's a real shame since Cleveland does have many wonderful things to offer.

Between the crap with my friends, my sugar (which is dropping very low then soaring very high this week making me feel like crap) and then the family I'm not going up in a good mood. It's like wow. I was so happy with my new clothes. (mom and Aunt M loved them too), show them to gram and she said 'what is that blue thing? A rag?' oh thanks and I KNOW better than to show it to Dad since he never has anything nice to say (I thought he fell and hit his head last time I was home when he complimented not only my hair color but my suit) but he came in when I was testing out mom's sewing job (we had to add trim since my legs are too long for the pant suit) and he says 'where you wearing that? A costume party?'

so much for all the good feelings I had about my beautiful new clothes. But you know what I still think they're beautiful and I think i look good in them.

Outside of going through another commencement (no i don't know why. I think it's stupid but maybe this gown will be nicer than the one Rio gave me) and the Glass Slipper Ball I don't know what all we'll be doing. Heck I'd be content to hang around the hotel just talking.

But the one thing I do know is i'll be offline until Sunday. I think the historic hotel has wi-fi but a) no laptop for me b) probably should actually talk to the people i haven't seen in 15 years.
