And productive. I got the shared syllabus and the course outcomes and got them out to the other faculty.
I got my final done (even though I messed it up)
I got my poster done. OMG if I thought it was hard to sum up my research into an hour presentation, getting it onto a 3X2 poster was impossible. I'm crying.
And just as I finished that my cursor freaked out again, erased some of my notes and my test. I put another mouse on the desktop and it wasn't that which is worse. I tried updating some drivers but we'll see (just glad it waited until my poster was done) I think it's more likely malware that my cleaners can't find.
In sad news, my brother's sweet little kitty, only three years old, threw a clot and had such serious neurological damage he had to be put to sleep. Brother and SiL are naturally crushed and I'll miss him too. When I house sit Finny always sat with me.
Called to get that damn hernia CT scheduled. No one called me back.
What I Just Finished Reading:
Bodies and Banners - cozy mystery, she's turning the family castle into a B-n-B so a lot of fantasy living out for the author here but it was good. I enjoyed it.
What I am Currently Reading:
Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik. I know a lot of friends love this. It's taken me a week to read 70 pages and I'm super annoyed I was just given a new character with zero introduction mid chapter. Yeah so far I'm not really enjoying this. I don't like Miryem or Wanda.
We Can Never Leave - H.E. Edgmon an arc of a horror/rural fantasy thing, trauma and cult survivors are a huge deal in this (and in the life of the author)
Speaking of cults also reading Trouble the Water (I think that's the title) about another cult survivor, horror set in OH, got it last year at the Ohioana book fest
What I Plan to Read Next:
I bumped these two back: Under This Red Rock
Of Manners and Murder - a historical mystery

Oohh, I've never heard of the Ohioana book fest. That sounds interesting. I should look into it...

The Ohioana book fest is once a year at the main library (thankfully because it used to be at a hotel and you had to pay 10$/2hr to park down the street) in Columbus. It was way late this year as it's usually in April. I hope this doesn't become it's normal time.
My area of OH (I'm closer to OU in Athens) has several small book fests too which is so weird because there isn't a bookstore within 80 miles of this place.
