I was going to bitch about work
Sep. 6th, 2012 10:29 pmThen decided I was tired of bitching. Aren't we all lucky? the one good thing was today was four hours of computer-based lab where the students don't really need me hovering. I got through 2/3's of my scarred soldier story. By this time next week I hope to have draft two done. Anyone want to edit through a UF m/m erotic novella? @ 35K+ (previous beta readers, want it back?). That does make it @ 90-100 pages long).
And speaking of writing Mark R. Hunter (
ozma914) is guest blogging for me on Jana's blog. Find it here. Please stop by and say hi.
I got a knock on the door. My landlord, whose wife had put the rent check in her pants pocket (she's disabled and they were down at the chapter house so she couldn't carry it) forgot and washed it. Whee.
I don't know why but stories like this always make me happy. Of course I could only work for one company for 73 years if I lived nearly 130. I'm not sure I have that in me.
And speaking of my frailty I think I have freaking conjungativitis. If I do, it will only be the second time in 25 years of wearing contacts so I shouldn't whine but my eyelid feels all bumpy and sticky.
I took these moonflower pictures a few nights ago but photobucket was down for maintenence.

I particularly like this one since you can see things in shadow
