This semester, knock on wood, is opening as smoothly as I could hope for. I'm going to be part of creating an honor's science class. It's going to be very different from my usual didactic, content-based classes. It's going to be more student based learning. I'm also learning, as I search for projects, how lazy I've been within my own classes. There are such fun labs on line. Some people are so creative that way. I'm jealous.

Writer Digest emailed me a little 5 things to do for a kick ass novel or some such nonsense and they posed this tip Have you given us a character with following? What the hell does that mean exactly?

It was SO pretty this morning. I wish I had had time to take pictures of the sunrise coming through the ice storm residuals on the trees (it had been SO warm here over the weekend that the ice didn't stick to the roads) Ice storms, so deadly, so damn beautiful.

Declutter day 3 recycled 2 beer bottles why kept -Wanted labels for art project. I plan to use them to decorating serving trays but they have been on my kitchen counter for so long (along with many more) that I can't remember them NOT being there. Why tossed- Finally removed labels (yes see some of my hoarding is pure laziness.)
