Tonight was my speech at the library. My local friend L naturally didn't show but my friend from Athens did. I mean she left work, drove 50 miles back to Athens to pick up her friend and drove back another 50 miles to see me. I told her she didn't have to since it was such a short one. Her friend wanted to see even more. Other than that it was the entire senior citizen population of Jackson OH. They seemed to enjoy it. The librarians asked questions to help things along. Overall it was nice.

I did go to the Mexican restaurant and got my favorite enchilades camaron and the cheese sauce on them was generous and yummy. However, the refried beans which are usually good tasted like bad pork. I think the lard they used in them had turned. Unedible. They were too busy and since I didn't need to eat all that much I didn't say anything.

And as for the ice storm, it hit at 1 AM, turned my car into a beautiful crystal shell and then melted. It was a big nothing. Heck it got to 50 today.

I wasn't home long enough to clutter. However, Kanda is picking up a new trick. He now greets me at the door then runs into the bedroom to the jewelry box knowing the first thing I'll do is go take off my jewelry and he's making damned sure I can't ignore him in the process
