I can now sleep without having to be propped up a little. WHEE! The arm is ouchy right now but I got everything into the apt and most of it is unpacked and put away.

I also got to Jackson for a few groceries until I can make out lists for what I really want (i.e. a chicken to hold me over). WTF? I was gone for less than 3 months and so much changed. They're putting in a overpass near the Walmart. We got an electrical supply store. The DMV is in that new building I was wondering about. The old plant (site of protests for 2 years) has been ripped down and the other new building is a strip mall with a GNC (really???), a dollar tree, a sports place (rolls eyes) and a Rue 21. No clue, think it's clothing.

I got me some brisket while I was there and went to the library for the first time in those 3 months. Oh the dopamine overload. I put myself on the list for Skin Games finally and couple Guardians of the Galaxy graphic novels. Talked to the head librarian. Turns out our new Provost went up there to see her trying to get the college to do more there. I'm liking him. I meet him tomorrow (and for a big meeting on tuesday).

I had to hound Tom to come unlime my damn shower so i could use it. It was limed shut. CLR didn't touch it. He had vice grips and WD-40. I will have to get me some of that.

And the little boy next door knocked today and begged me to adopted the kitten. I'm not really sure I WANT a kitten. I travel too much for two cats. But he is a sweet one. Right now, his designation is Rin (points to icon)

I found my house


I got awoken by yet another collection call for PL. She really DID have this number but that was back in 2005. I'm beginning to think I should look into reporting her for fraud because these charges are new and she keeps giving out her old number.
