We had the best teacher/scholar awards today and our new president who has met me once knew my name. I'm impressed. The other one didn't know me in 5 years in spite of me being invited to all the presidential dinners...

We also had the student research, all the research on campus, not just science stuff like last weekend. My student presented again. They all did good jobs. There was some good stuff there.

Last night somehow in manuevering myself on the task chair I tore off my pinkie nail. Nope, no clue how, just took half of it off. Lots of blood though so that was fun.

So I posted this article to prove FL is just weird: Florida Man has sex with Tree and not only has a friend in Finland noticed FL is just messed up and other friend sent me Florida Man's twitter feed so now I have all the news I need to prove my point. I have no idea how silvrethorn turned out so normal and relatively sane.
