Back in Pittsburgh
Nov. 24th, 2016 12:31 amKanda is too smart for his own good. I have rug burn on both my knees and not from any fun reasons. I don't know how Kanda knows when we're traveling (I've even tried putting the suitcase out early and he still knows the exact day). We have a morning ritual. He greets me in the bathroom, follows me to the computer room so I can check my sugar and then to the living room to open the curtains and then to the kitchen to get tea. Today he greeted me then instantly tried to get under my bed (and if he does I can't get him out). I had to dive on that crappy rough carpet to catch him. he then hid in his litter making piteous noises. Now he's zonked out on the seatee in the computer room absolutely loving it.
The drive was good except for my need to drink an ocean of water. My sugar must be high.
And I broke 40k. YAY.

The Lady of Blood and Bone pressed her lips to Tenaldi's cheek and he seemed too afraid to move. Concern knitted itself into Vinca's expression as she senses something wasn't quite right.
With a pat on Tenaldi's back, the Lady turned her attention to Camristy. She leaned against his shoulder, her lips at his ear. "I feel your pain, my son. I will give you a gift." The Lady kissed him too and the shadows blew away in his mind, retreating to the corners.
