Since I'm a) in the middle of camp nano & b) doing writing posts daily on jana_denardo I'm just going to use writerly ways to post up links and word counts this month to save myself time.

But first for all the fiction writers out there origfic_bingo is open again!! I would love for you to show it some love and go get a prompt card of your very own. I'd hate for it to fold up from lack of interest. And share it with other authors on your list at the very least! I've gotten so much written thanks to this comm in the past.

And I SO want to make it to the Steampunk convention in Cincinnatti in a couple weeks. They have a ton of major authors in steam punk there (including Cherie Priest). At least 3 writing workshops and LGBT in the genre. I think I could actually count this toward business for Jana. Sadly it's right when I'm supposed to be writing final exams. Head desk. Honestly I don't know how much of my local group is going but man, I'd like to go and not do group stuff (sorry group) just to take advantage of all the writing related stuff. Also, Voltaire is going to be there and I haven't been to one of his concerts in nearly 2 decades. (I think I saw him in like the first year or so of his career).
