I went to the casino with Mom and my Aunt S2's friend who was the wife to the dude who ran Corning (as in ware) who has buku bucks. We were taking her and her brother out (as people ALWAYS want her to pay because she's wealthy. She was so happy. She's heard all about me from Aunt S2 but this is the first time we've met (though she's given me gifts before). She gave me 50$ for my birthday. She is an eccentric, modeling her style after the hollywood starletts from the 30s and 40s.

Lucky Uncle also showed up. Unfortunately the casino is under new management and I've lost a LOT of my perks. Sigh. I did, however win 50$ so huzzah.

I had my mail forwarded. Today I got my first wave which included on the good side a book I won and o the bad side a summons to jury duty three days ago (as they forgot I said I was gone for the summer). They said I won't be fined when I called them but the real person I need to speak to isn't there as she works M-W. If my being out of state isn't an excuse then they need to call me because I'll never get a mailed summons in time.
