Dad figured out a way to put an inclined leg rest (covered in egg crate foam) on the patio furniture so I can sit somewhere other than my bed all day. I can only handle it maybe an hour and a half at a time before i need a break but it's better than nothing.

My brother and his wife were here. He's happy with how my leg looks and gave me several exercises that frankly SHOULD have been given to me three weeks ago. Let's face it, most of the skilled nursing PT is basic at best. I'll be doing those to the best of my ability.

My dad's brother and wife came up to see me. Honestly I heard more from this uncle while hospitalized than I have in years. I mean I see him when I'm home but we don't talk all that much.

I FINALLY got that damn epidemiology test written. It took forever. It's not a class I teach often so I can't just whip it out like breathing like I can with anatomy. I snitched a case study right off the cdc site (it's meant for that) wait til that drops on them. I hope they do well.
