Another grey day
Jul. 8th, 2021 06:58 pmWith some truly heavy rain falls off and on. Right now we have two fawns under a tree looking so unhappy about being wet, poor things.
PT is going well. I'm now riding the bike without issue and leg pressing 70 pounds. The balancing is much harder and more painful but I'm doing it. He keeps mixing it up for me to keep it fresh. I like this guy.
Work is going to be a bitch. I might have to take on another class/lab which is going to be hard but I don't know if they would find anyone else.
I am now sure I broke that toe, so swollen, so blue, so on my damn good foot. Really?? At least I didn't hurt the knee in that almost-fall.
Tomorrow my mom's friend is coming back north for the first time since moving to texas 45 years ago and she'll be staying here tomorrow/saturday. Should be interesting. Then on monday Mom and I are going to my apartment so I can get things, take things back and spend the night and the next day (well we'll go to the casino ago on night two) so I can go to the surgeon on Wednesday. Oh not looking forward to THAT talk.
I am seriously depressed over this It's looking pretty much like no streamers want Prodigal Son. Funny, Catherine Zeta Jones got nominated for her role in the Hollywood Critics awards but the rest of the show was snubbed. Truthfully never heard of this award but Superman and Lois were nominated over Pson. No offense but that is literally the most boring SUperman I've ever seen (apologies if you like it but that is seriously my thoughts on it).
I don't care about the awards but I DO care that no one wanted the show. It's downright heartbreaking. There is no official word yet from WB or the creators but it looks like the two month long campaign is all but done. I have never been this depressed over a show cancelation in my life. Maybe because 2021 has been so hard for me but damn, this was literally one of the best shows I've seen in years. I'm so uninterested in the rest of what's on offer I am considering canceling Direct. I wish all MY usual luck on Fox tv for this. Enjoy it.
