Because otherwise I'll be thinking about the phase loss that happened on campus and the electrical backlash blew out HVACs across campus (not in my building thankfully) or the fact My shoulder had been throbbing all day. I just in the shower and see in the mirror it's entirely black and blue. I have no idea what I did to get a bruise that big. A little good news, got to visit with a former student, another anime/renn fest fan.

So geek out time. The trailer For Cowboy Bebop is just fantastic

I'll be honest I was never that much of a Bebop fan. I appreciated that it finally blew the top of anime/manga and brought it into the mainstream. It caused the flood here in the states. i used to have to HUNT hard for this stuff in the 80-90s (as did some of my other friends) I loved the music but the show didn't stick with me. Hell I couldn't remember Faye and Ed's names until this live action (I remembered Eine so I prioritized the corgi over the only two women in the show. Go me) This does look really good though.




Not gonna lie. I nearly hurt myself flailing around in excitement at this. I am a HUGE Sandman fan. I don't have internet fast enough to stream. I'm tempted to buy it anyhow and sit with my laptop at work for this. I lost it when I saw Dream manifest in the trap. It was SO spot on.

I tried to finagle time at my brother's (and failed) to watch Vinland Saga on his Amazon Prime account. I don't like fight manga. I don't like contemporary stories much (even if they're historical) and I love this manga. I was SO excited to know it had an anime. Seeing bit of it here i think it looks a little muddy but the Welsh Viking is looking at it (Jimmy is fun) in a historical context (he's an archaeologist)


I'm never getting tired of watching Sergei dance. Sergei + Depeche Mode, yes please
