We had an early dinner at Aunt S2's place with the two people I don't like, another friend of the family and Lucky Uncle and my aunt. Honestly it wasn't bad until the end when that last hour seemed like forever. I brought roasted brussel sprouts in parmesan (trader joe's) that I gussied up with more cheese and some seasoning (bland as hell, sorry TJ) and then I sprinkled in some pomegranite aprils. It came out well. The ridiculously overpriced cheesecake from QVC (P. Girl bought it) was delicious but nowhere near worth its price.

In the clean up is where things went sidewise because PGirl knows everything and hers is the only way. Mostly she was fighting with Aunt S2 (who is her real aunt) and then she started with me because I wanted tap water because I don't drink plastic bottle water unless there is no choice. I'm like really, you want to light MY fuse? Go nuts. Luckily we were leaving soon after that (because all the honey bourbon egg nog wasn't going to cut it for me and holding my temper).


We came home in time for a family zoom get together (in which the idea that free zoom is only a half hour didn't seem to sink in) It was okay but i wish we had found different things to talk about.

Now I'm going to finally watch Wonder Woman 1984. It's fueling my desire to get back to my 80s era story. I started rereading the beginning. It's not bad so far.
