With the two friends of my parents I do not care for. To be fair, they were on their best behavior and were good to talk to today. Evil Little Dog called half way through their visit so that helped eat up and hour and a half of it. I am grateful.

But it's been a LONG day. All the rain over the last few days resulted in flooding in the basement that had to be dealt with. And then the seal on the U bend in the kitchen sink gave way and flood the kitchen cabinets. Whee. At least Dad is good with that sort of stuff.

A conversation heard tonight Mom and Company tonight insists they want my absinthe. I said you're not going to like it. Yes we will. We like licorice. Want to share a glass? No? Fine. Guess who had to drink all three absinthe glasses? Have I mentioned they're 138 proof? Now I just want to write but I still had to talk.
