This fannish 50 is me babbling about a lot of things that aren't connected in away because I'm unsupervised and I can't be stopped.

First up, check out [community profile] halfamoon a two week female-centric ficathon. They supply the prompts, you supply the fun. So many fandoms. So many recs, vids, icons, art and stories. I've written three (I know I won't be doing all the prompts. I suspect most of us won't but there are a lot of fun ones to chose fun so check it out).

Here are my stories because I'm proud of them (and so far they're doing as well as you'd expect for female centric stories....not great, ah well, this is why we do this.)

Title: Where Fashion Sits

Day/Prompt: Day 1 / Fashion

Fandom: Hazbin Hotel

Summary: Velvette dreams up a little plan that involves fashion and moving herself up the ranks of hell.

Title: Holodecks Make Things Better

Day/Prompt: Day 2 / self-care

Fandom: Star Trek: Voyager

Summary: After a rough away mission, Janeway treats herself to some holodeck time.

Title: Oh, What a Fight

Day/Prompt: Day 4 / Murder/Mayhem

Fandom: Hazbin Hotel

Summary: Cherri is just sowing chaos and defending her turf as she does when the perfect object of opportunity drives down the street. How’s a lady to resist?

If you read, hope you enjoy

now let's talk older fandoms because I have two for you. we can thank Betty for both of these.

The possible Buffy reboot gains traction I'm the first to admit it. I was NOT happy with the idea of a reboot. I'm tired of them. You're tired of them. EVERYONE is tired of them.

This however looks like it might be a continuation and older Buffy with the her friends (not sure about Xander given the actor's issues or for that matter if anyone would want to be back) The fact that there are so many slayers really opens this up. I might be okay with that (especially since Joss isn't in the picture) Then again I don't like the Buffy comics and wouldn't want that.

I think this could work and it could have a better diversity than the original had.

And there this and if you don't want to read the short article, here you go, the trailer

Make no mistake, The Fantastic Four were my first superhero team, my first comic book love. I adored them as a child (they might not stand up quite as well in my adulthood) I didn't mind the first movie with Ioane Gruffyd and Jessica Alba (the sequels less so) The later ones (including the one with Chris Evans) didn't do it for me.

ETA - Spikedluv pointed out I am confused. It was the 2015 cast (and I swear there was one other between 2005 and 2015). Chris was the original Johnny though I'm not sure I liked him all the much and yet was excited to see him in Deadpool

This take, this retrofuturistic 1960s might work for me. FF is a baby of the 60s (much like me) it would of course depend on how Sue is treated but I liked the feel of this trailer. I hold out hope. What do you think?
