I might as well make this post almost entirely about fandom recs. After all, all I did was to put away the rest of Christmas (into the garage and basement, putting it entirely away shall have to wait) and write on my Short Look at the Long History of Welsh medicine paper (I made it up to the Fenyw Hybys and need to work on the Physicians of Myddai tomorrow)

Very cool and no I didn't really that. I was in Myddai in 2019 at the center. If they advertised that I missed it, so thank you.

Yes, apparently one is an orthopaedics specialist at a hospital in London.

BTW, your poor spell check needs to learn Myddfai with an f, as myddai isn't a word.

That's interesting because what I've read (and was told) the last was in the 1700s. I wonder if they meant directly related father-son sort of thing.

Eh, less spellcheck and my dyslexic self forgetting how to spell Myddfai

I'll see if I can dig out some more information for you. My husband and FIL know the family a bit as Myddfai is just a few miles from where Huw went to school.
