My PT came today. She has STILL not heard my orthopedic surgeon. Neither have I. Technically today is 72 hours later (that is their timeline) but of course I don't expect to hear until Monday. I've decided monday at 3 is their deadline. I will call and tell them it is urgent because it is. My PT can not make a plan for me without knowing what he wants. It's been two weeks (this coming tuesday). PT therefore can't continue other than to waste time and my visits.

If that doesn't work I'm at a loss as to what to do. Patient advocacy lawyer? Takes time and money. Switch doctors? It's SUCH a complicated surgery I'm not sure another doctor would do that because then they'd be responsible for this man's work if something goes wrong. I'm three hours away so I can't just drop by the office and say hey, WTF? I don't see him for another full month.

So I'm naturally upset and now Mom's upset that I'm upset over things I can't control. Why are you upset about it? There's nothing you can do. How is that not upsetting?


And then my normal refuge is nuts today because Tom Payne made this post. I'm like a) calm down it's not uncommon for actors to do movies on hiatus b) for all you know it's Pson being picked up by a streamer c) they're under contract still and d) if it is a new TV show you can't blame the man. But damn it's depressing to watch everyone lose hope at once (even though we've trended our tweets every night for 3 weeks)

I would like just one bit of good news this year, you know?
