Another few weeks and no real writerly ways. There isn’t going to be one in any substantive form this week either, not with everything I have hanging over my head. It’s mostly a drive by with a reminder to self that maybe one day soon, I’ll talk about good books with horrible endings.

I made progress, editing both Splinters and Until the Ice Breaks. I got half way through Machiavelli Moon’s chapter five but no further. At least there has been progress. This was the year of the editing but it’s not really turning out that way, just like all the other years before it.

Speaking of which, would anyone like to read the first chapter or so of a fantasy story named Ties that Bindby myself and evil_little_dog? We’ve rewritten the first chapter several times, never to our satisfaction and one outside reader had a very negative reaction, one that I personally felt was way out of proportion, but arguably I’m too close to the subject matter. It doesn’t necessarily need an edit but rather more, is this confusion? Does it draw you in? and any other suggestions you might like to make, thanks.
