Wildlife Day

Another wasted day of doing very little that I needed to. However, I didn't need to do much to get the wild life to come to me.
The day opened with two turkey hens and about a dozen of their chicks. They were all over the yard eating all the cicadas they could stuff down (go turkeys go). They were out there most of the day to be honest.
There was a crazed squirrel who was also stuffing down the cicadas (go squirrel go).
Then there's been this bunny who comes on the patio and torments Kanda. This is the world's most brazen bunny. I couldn't get her and Kanda in the same shot but here they are.

Kanda wants her. She wants to keep away from him (perhaps sensing she is tasty)
Then came along a fat reddish deer and her fawn munching the herb garden I planted as a child that comes back wild every year.
Lastly at dusk came the limping raccoon who was literally racing around like mad jamming cicadas into his mouth (go raccoon go) and came right up to the house so we opened the window, scaring him. He raced right off. He wasn't injured at all. He was limping because he had fistfuls of cicadas he didn't want to let go so he could run after more.
Kanda got to go for a walk. His harness fits poorly. He's too fat for the size down but not fat enough for this one. I think a cat harness needs to be made with something around the hind legs too. Kanda was most excited for the walk once he came to Jesus about being in the harness.

And for throwback thursday have 13 year old me (1980) with Dad and brother at Hershey park.

No, apparently they never fed me.
