This morning we were having coffee onthe back patio.The momma deer and her twin fawns came out of the woods. One fawn lingered having a nosh on the green lush undergrowth. Momma saw us and ran off with one fawn. The fawn who was eating suddenly realized he was alone.

He ran all over our cut yard (@ 5 acres) hopping like there were hurdles back and forth many times. The poor baby was whimpering in fear. momma is small, probably her first babes. She sure didn't know how to deal with this.

Finally he got into the wooded part of our land but still went the wrong way. Hopefully he'll find his momma.
