On the twenty-third we had Mom's party (and I'll see the same people at Lucky Uncle's tomorrow). Yesterday on Christmas eve, we have our big celebration as my brother goes to his in-laws on Christmas day. We had shrimp cocktail, prime rib (which was a bit tough which was disappointing given what it cost but it did taste good), stuffed baked potatoes, tortellini and sugar snap peas. We had to go to church way early because he now goes between two churches and it was beyond packed. We had no idea who ANY of these people were. For once I didn't have to decorate the church.

It was standing room only in the church (we got the last fold out chairs that were lined up by the pews). It so hot Mom and I nearly passed out. Even my Sister in Law who loves it hot wanted out. I was still at the altar getting the host when I looked back to see my family racing out the door. Thanks for waiting guys. We were so hot we walked to the car in the falling snow without coats, just to cool off.

I got some cool gifts, like a Millenium Falcon book light and an R2D2 tea pot. Love them and a mug that says don't irritate the author or she'll put you in a book and kill you." Also got some really cool shirts, a long-sleeve Star Trek thermo,a neat cat shirt and a sweat shirt/pants combo for lounging. NO BOOKS. How did that happen? My brother got me some hidden object games which I love. Got some neat jewelry too.

Today Christmas Day was me and the parentals lying around watching TV (I watched a shocking amount of a Very Kenda Christmas before realizing the codes to win money were only flashed on random so I missed seeing most of them (as I'm typing and listening) for six hours...now we're watching Cars 3 (a bit depressing as it's all about getting old) and Wonder Woman.

Now if only I could write some

He's a good boy, even with the ribbons blowing in the heat vent (and he loves ribbons) he never bothered the tree.
