Was like any other day for me. Time becomes meaningless when you lose your independence. I have no deep thoughts on the holiday I haven't shared a 100 time before.

Mostly I worked on my online class, wrote a little, watched some TV and then scheduled my tweets for tonight's Prodigal Son campaign. 1.5 million tweets all total in 3 weeks and trending in countries like Belgium. I'm still hopeful a streamer will pick it up. Honestly scheduling a tweet every 5 minutes for this is about all I have energy for right now.

And speaking of tv I shared these on twitter so let me share them here

I started several new shows or new to me this year while hospitalized. Let me talk about them.
1. Clarice probably the most successful for me. I like the actress and the 90s's boy's club hurts but it's going off the rails a bit. Not enjoying her friend throwing her under the bus just so they can prove racial discrimination (i.e. Clarice didn't do it her bosses did but they're going to blame her and while her friend struggles with it she decides it's okay to do it)

2. Superman & Lois : for me one of the dullest renditions of Superman I've seen. His sons annoyed me and even Lois wasn't that interesting I gave it up

3. Walker. Man I wanted to love this. Love cop shows. Love Jared. This was a dumpster fire from him beating a suspect in the pilot to his whole family being awful people. Liked the partner and she was it (literally his family is filled with awful people)

4. The Equalizer -Here's another I wanted to love as I like Queen Latifah and it's all right. I'd watch it if I remembered it was on but it just hasn't grabbed me

5. Picard: Loving it. It is such a treat to see all of them again, it's like going home to friends after so many years. I still prefer episodic stories to one arc though

6 Kung Fu. The fight scenes are very pretty but the rest is such a mess

7. Debris. At least this is original! Like a mash up of Warehouse 13 and The X-Files without the joy or humor hidden in either. It's depressing and slow. I want to see the season end but I don't see me going for more (and like most original shows it has been canceled but it was boring so...)


I'm noticing most are either spin offs or reboots. Yay for zero creativity? This is why Prodigal Son being cancelled is so disappointing. It's like they punish something new and different.

I've been working on breaking the adhesions in my knee. Keep in mind that since the last week of Feb. my knee hasn't been allowed to bend until May 1st where it could go to 30 degrees and then to 60 degrees. Well it's not going to 60 degrees and definitely not to the 90 degrees it's supposed to. So I'm slowly stretching it back. If I can't get it to move a) it'll require me to be put out and manipulated (painfully) or b) operated on to get it cleaned out. I'd like to avoid both. Wish me luck. (also the stretching the knee is painful AF)
