cornerofmadnessActually I wasn't overly impressed in some respects. Ed's big fix actually insured he had zero to do for 30 pages, though it was kinda cool to see the chimera doing something
I was hoping for more progress with poor AL but alas.
Have to say I didn't see Grumman's half hearted betrayal of Mustang, the sort of well if he dies, okay, if he wins better. I thought Grumman liked Roy (since like many I assume this is Riza's grandfather)
Naturally was hoping to actually see a little of ROy/Riza/Olivia but oh well.
GreedLing remains an excellent piece of eye candy, just saying.
What really saved this one from being rather forgettable?

How freaking cool was Ran Fan? And she beat Ed's recovery record. Go Ran Fan. Tough and sexy. Yeah I want to see some Ran Fan/Greed!Ling smut right about now.

Yes she beat Ed's recovery time (I think those purification arts had something to do with that, too), but I wanna know where the hell she GOT that automail. I'm thinking she got it from what's-his-face from Vol. 5 (and the whole baby thing) because I remember armed automail being mentioned a lot in there. Not to mention the fact that they actually all first met up in Rush Valley, so maybe they remembered about what kind of place it was...
And I miss Mei! And Shrimp!Envy, and uh, like, EVERYONE ELSE.
And dammit, school has to start again before the next chapter comes out. At least I have something to look forward to while sitting lazily in class...

I sure would like to know what Riza and co. are up to as well, although Grumman's attitude in this one did surprise me. I didn't think he would be the type to go in halfway and then back out for another plan or something like that. I thought he LIKED Roy. Oh well.
